Servings: 6
- 1 tsp. Vegetable Oil
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
- ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- ½ cup Chicken Broth
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Prepared Mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
- 2 tsp. Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- ½ tsp. Smoked Paprika
- 2.5-3 lb. Pork Tenderloin
Rub oil on the slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, prepared mustard and dried spices.
Place pork tenderloin in the slow cooker. Pour liquid mixture over tenderloin.
Cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or until pork tenderloin easily shreds.
Remove pork tenderloin from slow cooker. Shred pork tenderloin and cut into smaller strips if desired. Add back one to two cups of liquid mixture from crock-pot. Stir in additional BBQ sauce.
I used Sweet Baby Ray's Original BBQ Sauce. Be sure you like the flavor of the BBQ sauce you use!
I recommend using filtered Apple Cider Vinegar. I found that the unfiltered ACV results in a stronger vinegar flavor than desired.
