Equipment

  • 1 Slow-Cooker

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce
  • ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ½ cup Chicken Broth
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Prepared Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 2 tsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp. Onion Powder
  • ½ tsp. Smoked Paprika
  • 2.5-3 lb. Pork Tenderloin

Instructions

  • Rub oil on the slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, prepared mustard and dried spices.
  • Place pork tenderloin in the slow cooker. Pour liquid mixture over tenderloin.
  • Cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or until pork tenderloin easily shreds.
  • Remove pork tenderloin from slow cooker. Shred pork tenderloin and cut into smaller strips if desired. Add back one to two cups of liquid mixture from crock-pot. Stir in additional BBQ sauce.

Notes

I used Sweet Baby Ray's Original BBQ Sauce. Be sure you like the flavor of the BBQ sauce you use!
I recommend using filtered Apple Cider Vinegar. I found that the unfiltered ACV results in a stronger vinegar flavor than desired.
